Springs & Wells
Our farm is the ideal starting point to explore the countryside by foot – no matter if you prefer long hikes or a short walk around the valley.
Why not explore the Unterkirnacher Wasserweg: It’s a 4.2 kilometers (1.5h) long circular path for the whole family that explores how our drinking water finds its way to our homes from nature in a very child-friendly way – together with the two cheerful mascots Tanni and Quellini as your companions. The path is very entertaining with numerous work-stations for the whole family to get involved.
Take the easy 45-minute stroll from our farm (3 kilometers) to the starting point of the circular water way.
Gallows, Witches & Observation Towers
Explore the beauty of the Black Forest in a wider radius with a bicycle or e-bike, which can be rented approx. 4 kilometers away from our farm in the village of Unterkirnach at the tourist information point. There you can also find handy accessoires, as well as bike trailers for smaller children if needed.
How about an interesting tour past a medieval execution site on to the ‘Stöcklewald Tower’ in Furtwangen, which at 1020 meters above sea level offers an incredible 360 degree panoramic view of the Black Forest – providing you are brave enough to climb the tower.
